DataForce by TransPerfect is currently looking for Project Coordinators to join our team in India! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team to improve Artificial Intelligence and technology. 



Role Summary

The Project Coordinator works closely with their manager in the execution of projects according to project plans. They work with stakeholders to understand project requirements, using their project expertise and technical skills to handle and assign project tasks, assist with problem solving, and support managers and other staff in day-to-day department operations. The Project Coordinator coordinates the life cycle of data annotation, data collection, transcription, and other relevant project types, ensuring their seamless execution.

Situated on-site, the Project Coordinator will take on the primary role in driving local projects and collaborating with the designated Project Manager to ensure the team's success.



Role Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of project plans, schedules, and expenditures; organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings; and maintaining quality standards throughout the development life cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day project activities
  • Work with the Project Manager to implement and execute project plans, aiming to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and quality deliveries
  • Facilitate communication between team members, ensuring everyone is aligned on project goals and tasks
  • Assign tasks to Annotators/participants based on their expertise and availability
  • Provide on-site training to the team
  • Provide guidance and support to the moderation team to maintain consistent quality
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that content moderation is carried out accurately and in line with project guidelines
  • Monitor individual and team performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing coaching or training as necessary
  • Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring project quality and accuracy
  • Communicate with other teams and departments within the company, such as Sourcing, Payments, IT, and Operations, to ensure the smooth running of the project
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external parties
  • Effectively juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including task assignments, progress reports, and meeting minutes

Job requirements

Required Skills:

  • Prior experience in Image/Video Annotation (2D, 3D, ADAS, LIDAR...)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with team members
  • Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and correct errors in the data
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Familiarity with data management and manipulation tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Understanding of data quality processes and best practices
  • Proficiency with computer software, such as Microsoft Excel and databases
  • Ability to handle and work with large data sets


Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
  • Professional working proficiency in English
